Step by Step Noah's Ark

Each spread tells part of the story of Noah in rhyming couplets. This is accompanied by a list of things you will need and very simple step-by-step instructions to make each of the elements in the story - Noah and his family, animals, birds, ark and rainbow - all of which combine to make a home-made model that can be played with again and again.

The book is suitable for children aged 4-7 and can be used by teachers and parents working and playing with children at school at home and in church clubs Reception, KS1, Art and RE.

Leena Lane comes from Yorkshire, is half Finnish and lives with her husband and two young children in Reading. She has been a teacher of modern languages, worked in bookshops, and worked as a children's book editor for two different Christian publishers for nine years.

Gillian Chapman studied at Harrow Art School and graduated with a Diploma in Illustration. She has worked with a number of major UK publishers including the BBC, Walker Books, Collins and Exley. In addition to illustrating, writing and designing over 40 children's books she has experience of working with children in schools and libraries.
